What Are Financing Options?
If you are already qualified, we will work with your finance company. If you need direction to line up financing, we have several options that we can arrange for you to look into. If you are not sure if you qualify, we have a team that can help you navigate that process also. Once construction starts the finance company will receive request for draws for the percent of work completed. We will take care of all of this for you. Once the construction is completed the loan will be transitioned into a conventional loan.
Can I Pick Out Things Like My Own Pool, Appliances and Colors?
Your contract will outline the specifics of your home including floor plan, structure, finishes, features, etc. You can choose your colors and finishes before this. There is a budget for the appliances and pool. If you would like to upgrade these items we will work with you to establish this and any changes to cost before the contract is signed. We will arrange a meeting with a color specialist for you to help you with this.
How Will I Know The Progress Of The Construction Of My Home?
Coxey Construction will stay in touch with you with progress reports. It is exciting to build your own home! We understand this and want to make sure you are aware of what is going on. We will provide you with several ways to keep in contact us. We will set up several walk-throughs throughout the process.

How Much Does A Home Cost?
This question is not easy to answer as there are so many variables, like the size of the home, finishes and even which community you are building in will factor into the price of the home. We will work with you to find a balance between the cost of your home and the value of having the lifestyle you deserve to live!
How Long Will It Take To Build?
The average time is 5 – 7 months once the permitting has been cleared. A few things that affect the timing may be a permit approval backlog by the county or ongoing unusual weather conditions.
Do You Build Custom Homes?
We have several plans that you can choose from. We will meet with you to see if you would like to make custom changes to these to fit your needs. If you have plans of your own, rest assured that we can build your perfect home! We also have a network of designers that will work with you to bring dreams into reality!
Do I Have To Already Have A Lot?

Are You Licensed and Insured?
Our License is the top license offered in Florida for building and allows us to build any project. We have both a residential and a commercial division. We exceed the required in insurance and every one of our construction subs are required to carry a license and insurance.
